Jordi Wood is a composer, multi-instrumentalist, producer, and sound engineer creating cinematic music about transformation, consciousness, and becoming.

Classically trained from an early age, Jordi studied piano and music theory before expanding into jazz harmony, composition, and production. Over more than a decade they have become fluent on over twelve instruments, among them felt piano, charango, flutes, and percussion, and today they compose, produce, mix, and master their own work from start to finish. Every stage of the process stays in their hands.

Before the studio, there was the jungle. Following a series of profound health crises, Jordi traveled to the Peruvian Amazon and apprenticed for fifteen years in the tradition of vegetalismo under a respected elder, enduring long periods of isolation and rigorous master plant dietas. They were formally initiated and given the Shipibo name Sui Nihue, a gentle and beautiful breeze. There they learned to listen in uncommon ways: to receive songs directly from the plants, to hear imbalance in a voice, to let sound carry intention.

That listening is the root of everything Jordi composes now. The ceremonies are no longer the form. They are the vocabulary. What began as healing practice has evolved into a language of atmosphere, tension, tenderness, and release, the same instincts that once guided ritual now moving through string arrangements, analog textures, and nocturnal, cinematic sound worlds. Jordi's work carries the concentration of someone who has spent years holding space for human transformation, aimed now at film, dance, and immersive projects that want more than decoration. They want music with a pulse.

Jordi's catalog tells the story of that evolution, from raw ceremonial origins, through initiatory works, toward the emerging language of their current releases. Their music does not ask to be understood as spiritual product. It asks to be felt, remembered, and returned to.
